As you may have read yesterday my son just finished his first year of nursery school - I wanted to create something great for his teachers and for his classmates.
One of the moms in the class suggested a gift card flower bouquet. She took the link garland I made (post here) and made flowers out of them. Each parent brought in a picture of their kid to go in the center. We taped the gift cards to a 'petal' and placed all 7 into a vase, overcrowded but adorable. I found a cute printable here - that said "Thanks for Helping US Bloom."
The Teachers loved this and everyone kept walking down the hall admiring it.
I also wanted to give the teacher something a little special so I put together a little flower pot of succulents. They come back every year and very easy to care for. I found a printable here - that said "Thank you for helping me Grow". Perfect for this. I attached to a #2 pencil and voila.
Now for the kids in the class - I am working on favors for my daughters birthday and thought of giving sidewalk chalk. I didn't want to do a lot for my sons classmates/friends and who doesn't love sidewalk chalk??? A big box was on sale at ACMoore. I put 2 together and added a napkin or water bottle wrap Printable found here-. So cute huh?
I also found these cute ideas on pinterest and thought I would share:

What creative things are you giving to your teachers or classmates? would love to hear!
