So my little man turned 3 and we threw him a rock star party! Enjoy some of the pictures of the party. We had about 8 preschoolers there and 6 toddlers. When the kids arrived they received a special back stage pass (we just printed and laminated at home) with a lanyard and were invited in for some play time and to check out the coloring station. Then we had a little concert outside on a 'stage' We got about 10 minutes of participation from the kids playing their guitars. It was so cute. Just like any rock star I wanted to have his favorite foods available. Everyone enjoyed a macaroni and cheese bar with a yummy dessert station. I hear my cake pops are becoming famous. :) wink
All kids left with a swag bag (full of personalized guitar pics, rockin ducks, glow braclets and rock candy), a blow up guitar and a clapper! Items found at Island Novelty and Oriental Trading.

clappers and blow up guitars for all the rock stars in attendance
I made his birthday cake by using a guitar kit by Duff sold at
michaels Stores.
My little rock star woke up to a room full of balloons and the front door decorated in the theme of his party. He did a great job of blowing out his candle, eating cake, playing with his friends and loving his 'real' guitar. He truly ROCKED it!
Love it! This idea is really fun. It works great for 3-yr-olds who love music, dancing, and playing play guitar (um, all of them!), but it can also really transition up the grade school crowd. My next door neighbor requested a Rock Star Dance party for his 8th birthday!
